Mercedes-Benz is known for safety. Create a futuristic user interface design which centers around the topic of safety. It can be an instrument cluster or design for the headunit.
Additional task: show how artificial intelligence can be used in the design.

I decided to design an instrument cluster which is centered around safety and has a car in the middle as a main focus point. The background should be created by an A.I. which creates based on a default prompt which is filled with some words created again by another A.I. reading the environment (for example city, hills, …)

Result

This interface main concept is a glass-tunnel which the car drives through. On the horizon is the A.I. created image which is generated by a default prompt and a few words given by another A.I. which reads images (city on top, hills on bottom). On the sides there are bargraphs indicating the current power given from the battery to the engine or in reverse for the recuperating process. Next to it on the bottom is the current range of the car and the state of charge.

In the center of the screen there is the current speed written and below it there is the main focus of the screen: the car. It is driving on a road which reflects the road of the environment.

Another important aspect of feeling safe inside of the car is to know all the parts and systems of the car are working as they should. For this I integrated the analyze-mode where the whole car gets scanned and checked for any irregularities.
In an instrument cluster it is very important to keep all the necessary information visible which is why the camera turns but always keeps the current speed and current state of power and charge in sight while a glass panel slides in to display the results of the vehicle scan.
